The Slovak Republic (as well as other member states of the European Union) regularly enters into various international comparisons, the aim of which is to evaluate the current state and development of the business environment within the EU countries. By comparing internationally comparable data, it is then possible to determine the country’s position in time and space on the continuous improvement of conditions for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia.
